About Us

Established in 2017

Rotavele was primarily set up for the sub-contract management of lift installation projects. We offer a cradle-to-grave alternative to lift companies, specializing not only in project management but also program and commercial solutions. Over the years, we have identified major gaps in the market and sought to bridge them with our expertise.

After steady growth working alongside housing associations, local councils, independent lift companies, and tier-one contractors, Rotavele expanded in 2019 to undertake design, project installations, and testing works to coincide with project management. Our aim is to become the number one sub-contract company in the lift industry, enforcing our ethos of ‘looking at elevators in a different way.’

The business has grown into a team of 44 staff, consisting of management, draughtsmen, administrative support, engineers, and testers. We also have our own government-funded apprenticeship program.

To date, we work alongside the leading elevator manufacturers in the UK, focusing in and around London and the South East to deliver projects safely, to a high quality, and within budget.

Health and Safety Accreditation

Rotavele is currently working towards becoming a Safe Contractor, and we plan to have this in place in the first quarter of 2023. We work under strict health and safety, environmental, and quality policies that are available upon request.

We are also working towards gaining our ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditations.

Rotavele has a UKAS number through Lift Cert, which allows us to test and handover lifts to our clients, ensuring that they have been installed and tested to the highest standards. Safety is always our top priority during the installation, testing, and handover of all our lifts.

Our engineers are checked and accredited with the following:

  • NVQ3 or 4
  • ER202 as a minimum (mates)
  • Apprentice working toward NVQ and HNC in electrical principals
